This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established fiduciary services firm in a senior support capacity.
Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Trust Manager to support the Trust team in delivering a high-quality service to a portfolio of complex and time-sensitive structures. The role involves managing client relationships, overseeing administration tasks, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the day-to-day management of a portfolio of complex trusts and companies, primarily for South African clients.
• Support the Trust team in delivering a responsive and professional client service.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, promoting effective team performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory obligations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal systems and procedures.
The Ideal Candidate:
Candidates should have between 7–10 years’ experience in fiduciary services and hold or be working towards a relevant qualification (e.g. STEP Diploma, NVQ Level 4+). A solid understanding of trust structures, particularly for South African clients, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively is essential.
Working Arrangements:
This is a full-time role, though flexible hours may be considered. A competitive salary and benefits package will be pro-rated accordingly.
