Our client is a leading provider of Trust and Corporate services seeking to recruit an Associate Director, Head of Commercial Compliance, Guernsey.

Overall purpose of the role:

Responsible for the compliance function and/or team for company’s Funds Services (Guernsey) and take the compliance responsibilities required on the regulated client structures administered by the company to ensure they comply with applicable laws, regulations supervisory requirements, internal policies and procedures through internal controls and actions; with the ultimate objective being to provide assurance to management and protect the Group’s good name and reputation.

Key responsibilities will include;

• To act as Nominated Officer to company’s Guernsey regulated entities (where required);
• To provide support to the senior leadership team to ensure that the Funds business complies with applicable laws, charters, regulations, supervisory requirements, internal policies and procedures

The successful candidate will have:

• Prior relevant compliance experience gained in regulated finance or professional services with most recent position at Manager level
• Must be able to demonstrate sound management experience
• Solid understanding of the business and regulations applicable
• Drive development by using all learning and development resources available; and
• Relevant compliance qualification desirable; and
• Solid IT technical skills.
