Responsibilities

Managing and delivering a portfolio of audit and accounts assignments from planning through to completion
Reviewing work prepared by junior and semi-senior team members, providing constructive feedback and guidance
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for a varied client base
Overseeing the preparation and review of statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
Contributing to the training and development of junior staff members
Liaising with partners and senior management on client matters and practice development
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Identifying opportunities to add value and provide advisory input to clients

Requirements

ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Proven experience at Manager level or approaching Manager level within an audit and accounts function
Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and relevant auditing standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
Demonstrated experience in reviewing and supervising the work of junior team members
Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously
A proactive and commercially minded approach to client service
