Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and within agreed deadlines
Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations for a range of clients, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback to support their development
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted point of contact and delivering an excellent level of service
Liaising with managers and partners on technical matters and contributing to the efficient running of the department
Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified, or studying towards final examinations, with a solid background in audit and accounts
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong working knowledge of accounting software and relevant audit tools, with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to liaise directly with clients and senior stakeholders
A proactive and organised approach to workload management, with a high level of attention to detail
