As Audit Assistant Manager, you will take a central role in the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services across a varied and interesting portfolio of clients, supporting partners and managers on more complex assignments whilst taking on increasing responsibility for client relationships and the day-to-day development of the junior members of the team. Key Responsibilities
Leading and reviewing audit assignments across a varied client portfolio to the highest technical standards
Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships with confidence and professionalism
Supervising, coaching, and supporting the development of junior and semi-senior members of the audit team
Supporting partners and managers on complex assignments and technical matters
Ensuring all assignments are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard
Contributing to business development activity and identifying opportunities to grow the firm's audit portfolio
Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong audit background gained within practice
At least four years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
Proven ability to lead audit assignments and manage client relationships confidently and effectively
Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and confident client-facing manner
Well organised with a proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
