As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will play a central role in managing and delivering audit engagements across a diverse client base, which includes owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and corporate entities. You will support senior management in driving quality and efficiency, whilst mentoring junior members of the team. This is a fantastic platform for those who are ambitious and want to develop their technical expertise and leadership capabilities within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Managing and delivering audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact during engagements
Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing constructive feedback and guidance
Supporting Partners and Managers in the delivery of a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
Contributing to the ongoing development of audit processes, methodology, and best practice within the firm
Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified (or close to qualification) with solid audit experience gained within a UK accountancy practice
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS, with the ability to handle complex audit matters
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients at senior levels
A proactive, team-focused approach with a genuine desire to develop both personally and professionally
