In this Audit Manager job in Cardiff, you will take a key role in managing and developing a varied audit portfolio, working closely with Partners and senior stakeholders to deliver a high-quality service to a broad client base. You will be responsible for leading audit engagements from planning through to completion, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring compliance with UK accounting and auditing standards. Key Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of audit clients and overseeing audit assignments from planning to completion
Leading, mentoring, and reviewing the work of audit staff and trainees
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Ensuring compliance with UK auditing and accounting standards
Identifying opportunities to add value and improve processes
Requirements
ACA / ACCA qualified
At least five years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
