A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Portsmouth is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing team, offering flexible working, a company pension, and much more!

The successful candidate will take ownership of a varied portfolio of audit assignments, leading fieldwork from planning through to completion and playing an active role in developing junior team members along the way.
Responsibilities:
Planning, executing, and finalising statutory audits across a range of sectors
Supervising and reviewing the work of junior audit staff on assignments
Liaising directly with clients to resolve audit queries efficiently
Preparing financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP
Identifying areas for process improvement and adding value for clients
Requirements:
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist, with strong technical audit knowledge
Proven ability to manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive, detail-oriented approach to client work
