Overview:
Our client, a fast-growing and progressive electrical wholesale business based in Southampton, is looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join their expanding team.

This role would suit a confident, self-driven individual who enjoys being out on the road, building relationships and actively generating new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:
• Actively prospect and win new accounts, building a strong pipeline of potential customers through networking, cold calling, and site visits.
• Plan and manage your own sales territory, organising regular customer visits to maximise new business opportunities.
• Work closely with the branch team to ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts and excellent customer service.
• Monitor market activity and competitor offerings, identifying opportunities to strengthen the company’s position in the local market.
• Consistently achieve sales targets through proactive business development and relationship building.

Skills / Experience:
• Electrical Wholesale experience (essential)
• Driving Licence
• Confident communicator and natural relationship builder.
• Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to manage your own diary and sales pipeline effectively.
• Positive and driven attitude, with a genuine desire to build a successful career within the electrical wholesale industry.
