Description

Join this leading international life assurance provider in a key leadership role supporting client onboarding and transaction processing. Sitting within the Unit Linked Operations department, this is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated Case Management team while ensuring full compliance with AML, KYC and CDD obligations. This position is ideal for a candidate with at least five years’ experience in financial services looking to take the next step in their career.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Leading the Case Management team in processing client onboarding, payments out, and other instructions.
• Performing risk-based reviews to assess customer activity and ensure adherence to AML, KYC, fraud, and due diligence standards.
• Acting as a key contact for operational servicing, ensuring accurate and timely processing of cases with appropriate audit trails.
• Reviewing and updating customer profiles and escalating any data gaps or high-risk matters as appropriate.
• Communicating clearly with clients, including video or security verification calls where required.
• Supporting operational projects, quality assurance, and risk control assessments as directed.
• Overseeing management information related to client reviews, risks, and mitigation actions.
• Supporting team development through coaching, guidance, and identifying operational efficiencies.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks.

The successful candidate will have:
• A minimum of five years’ experience in the finance industry, ideally with a focus on client risk assessment, KYC, and AML.
• A relevant AML certificate or diploma (desirable).
• A clear understanding of regulatory and legal requirements within the financial services sector.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both internally and externally.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload.
• A confident, proactive mindset and the ability to lead and support a busy operations team.
• High proficiency in Microsoft 365 and other relevant operational systems.
