Description

An independent and internationally recognised fiduciary provider with over 50 years of experience is seeking an experienced CDD Analyst for a 6 to 12 month contract. The organisation provides high-quality services to a select group of UHNW private clients, administering more than £3 billion in assets and over 250 entities. Their office in Guernsey offers a professional and collegiate atmosphere, with strong leadership and a dedication to regulatory best practice.

The Role
This contract role sits within the first line of defence and supports both the operational compliance and onboarding teams. Working closely with Trust and Company professionals, you will play a key part in assessing and maintaining client due diligence records across a wide range of complex structures.

Key Responsibilities Include
• Reviewing structure charts and identifying relevant entities, customers, key principals and other identification subjects
• Determining the appropriate level of CDD and enhanced measures as required
• Assessing CDD, Source of Wealth (SoW) and Source of Funds (SoF) documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records using the company’s fiduciary software
• Responding to due diligence queries and escalating any issues or deficiencies
• Supporting sanctions screening processes and regulatory updates
• Assisting with internal reporting and the development of best practice procedures

What You’ll Need to Succeed
• Strong and recent experience in CDD/AML, ideally within the fiduciary sector
• Familiarity with the GFSC Handbook and corporate/trust structures
• Proven ability to apply enhanced due diligence and analyse SoW and SoF information
• Good awareness of risk indicators and regulatory responsibilities
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and effective communication abilities
• A professional AML/CFT qualification is advantageous
• Experience with systems such as Acumen is helpful but not essential
