Job Title: KS1 Class Teacher – Expertise in Behaviour Management
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester

Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to kickstart your journey, this role offers an exciting opportunity to positively impact young learners.

About the Role:
As a KS1 Class Teacher, you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic and supportive team, delivering high-quality learning while developing effective strategies to support behaviour and engagement. Your focus will be on fostering a nurturing learning environment where all children feel safe, supported, and ready to thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Deliver creative, well-planned lessons tailored to the needs of all pupils, with particular attention to behaviour support
- Promote a positive classroom culture through consistent, proactive behaviour management techniques
- Track and evaluate pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting approaches as needed
- Collaborate closely with the SENCO, TAs, and fellow teaching staff to create a cohesive learning experience
- Engage with parents/carers, building strong relationships to support pupil development both academically and behaviourally
- Take part in ongoing professional development, especially around behaviour strategies and inclusive teaching
- Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare at all times

What We’re Looking For:

- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum and strong classroom delivery skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and support pupils with challenging behaviour
- A reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement and inclusive education
- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
- ECTs are welcome to apply and must show enthusiasm for behaviour-focused CPD
