An established and well-regarded financial services provider is seeking a Company Secretarial Administrator to join their Guernsey team. This is a varied and engaging role supporting the Company Secretary in delivering high standards of corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will provide confidential company secretarial and general administrative support. You will be involved in the preparation for Board and Committee meetings, maintaining corporate records, and assisting with statutory and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the preparation for Board and Committee meetings, including documentation and record keeping.
• Maintain corporate records, including constitutional documents, agreements, signatory lists, and banking relationship files.
• Assist with corporate registrations and regulatory filings.
• Provide secretarial services to management committees.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure efficient prioritisation and delivery.
• Understand and apply Client Due Diligence (CDD) and Client Risk Assessment requirements.
• Contribute to fostering a culture of risk awareness and strong corporate governance.
• Support ad hoc project work and additional duties as required.
Skills & Experience
• At least 2 years’ experience within the finance industry (Banking, Insurance, Trust, or Funds). Prior Company Secretarial experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Working knowledge of Guernsey’s legislative and regulatory environment.
• Insurance sector knowledge, including Protected Cell Companies, is beneficial.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Board Intelligence, Diligent, Guernsey Company Registry and GFSC online portals would be an advantage.
