Complex Needs Teaching Assistant – Resource Base Aston
Location: Aston, Birmingham
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week

Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work within a primary resource base supporting pupils with complex needs.

The Role:
• Support pupils with severe learning difficulties and additional needs
• Assist with personalised learning programmes
• Provide personal care where required
• Support communication using visual aids and AAC
• Work collaboratively with teaching and therapy staff

About You:

• Experience supporting complex or profound learning needs
• Confident with personal care
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable
• Knowledge of PECS, Makaton or similar communication strategies desirable
