Description
An established offshore law firm is seeking a dedicated Compliance Administrator to join its team in Jersey. The role is focused on supporting the compliance function, ensuring effective monitoring, and assisting with the development of regulatory controls.
Key Responsibilities
• Review new client take-on documentation to confirm adherence to procedures.
• Undertake periodic reviews of Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and Higher Risk client files.
• Maintain compliance registers and document new occurrences.
• Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) searches, screening checks, and prepare internal documentation.
• Assist with gap analysis between legislation and internal policies/procedures.
• Participate in compliance meetings and implement agreed actions.
• Support compliance-related projects as required.
Qualifications & Experience
• Educated to A level standard (or equivalent) with strong grades.
• ICA qualification (completed or willingness to study).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar compliance role.
• Strong IT skills, including sound knowledge of MS Office.
