Our client is a leading financial services organisation undertaking a significant core banking transformation programme. This is a high-profile initiative designed to modernise the bank’s core platform and strengthen its long-term operational capability. Candidates must be based in Guernsey or have a right to work document to work in Guernsey. This role is also open for individuals who are based in Jersey.
Role
This is a senior-level appointment within a major core banking system transformation. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping and delivering change across a complex environment, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined, well-documented and translated into effective technical solutions.
The role is initially structured as an 18-month project assignment, with the option to transition to a permanent position to retain the right individual.
Key responsibilities
• Play a central role in the delivery of a large-scale core banking transformation programme
• Work closely with stakeholders across the bank to understand business needs, challenges and strategic objectives
• Lead the elicitation, analysis and documentation of requirements relating to Temenos Transact (T24)
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, structured documentation
• Act as a bridge between business teams, technology teams and delivery partners
• Support solution design, testing, business readiness and go-live activities
• Ensure all deliverables meet governance, quality and regulatory standards within a financial services environment
Person specification
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial services
• Strong hands-on experience with Temenos Transact (T24)
• Experience working on complex system implementations or core banking change programmes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confident communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
Experience working with third-party vendors or across multiple delivery phases (design, build, testing and implementation) would be advantageous.
Experience with T24, AA or TPH is non-negotiable.
