Description
A well-established provider of private client, corporate and fund administration services is seeking an experienced Trust Manager to join its Guernsey team on a temporary basis, likely under a 6- or 12-month fixed-term contract.
This appointment requires an accomplished trust professional who can step into the role, assume responsibility for existing client work and provide effective oversight of the wider administration team from the outset.
Key Responsibilities
• Take responsibility for a portfolio of trust and corporate clients, ensuring consistently high service standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional intermediaries.
• Provide technical guidance and support on complex fiduciary matters.
• Oversee client administration, transactions, reviews, risk assessments and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with Risk and Compliance to address any portfolio deficiencies.
• Monitor workflows, deadlines, billing, financial reporting and outstanding client matters.
• Guide and support team members, ensuring responsibilities are completed effectively.
• Attend client, management and committee meetings as required.
What You Need
• Substantial trust administration experience is essential.
• Previous experience at Trust Manager level, with the ability to take ownership of existing client work immediately.
• Strong technical knowledge of trust and corporate structures and the associated regulatory framework.
• A relevant professional qualification, such as STEP, ICSA or ACCA, is preferred.
• Proven team management and leadership experience.
• Excellent client relationship, communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
