As Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in managing a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients, supporting Partners and Directors with complex advisory projects, and mentoring junior members of the tax team. The firm has built an excellent reputation across Nottingham and the wider Midlands for its technical expertise, client-focused approach, and commitment to professional development. Working with a broad range of corporate clients, you will gain exposure to corporate tax planning, group restructures, R&D tax relief claims, capital allowances, and transaction support. Key Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance deadlines are met
Reviewing corporate tax computations and returns prepared by junior staff
Supporting on corporate tax advisory projects
Assisting with R&D tax relief claims, capital allowances and due diligence assignments
Liaising directly with clients, HMRC and internal stakeholders
Mentoring and developing junior members of the tax team

Requirements
ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified or part-qualified
At least four years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation
Previous experience managing corporate tax compliance and advisory assignments
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Ambitious, proactive and keen to progress within a leading Nottingham accountancy practice
