Description
We are working with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Reading to find an experienced and technically strong Corporate Tax Manager for a role that sits within a well-regarded and growing tax practice, with a genuinely varied client base and a firm that looks after its people, offering flexible working, a company pension, and much more.
Crowe Watson Recruitment knows the Thames Valley accountancy market well, and has spent years developing relationships with the firms and candidates that make up that market. The team does not take a scattergun approach to recruitment; instead, every search is handled with care and precision, with a genuine effort made to understand both sides of the equation before any introduction is made. That thoughtful approach is reflected in the quality and longevity of the placements Crowe Watson consistently delivers.
Corporate tax at this firm is genuinely interesting work. The client base spans a range of sectors and business sizes, and as Corporate Tax Manager you will have the opportunity to get involved in compliance and advisory work that goes well beyond the routine, including group tax matters, restructuring, and planning assignments that require real technical engagement. You will manage your own portfolio, work closely with partners, and play an active role in developing the junior members of the team around you. Reading’s proximity to London means the commercial environment is fast-paced and ambitious, and this firm matches that energy whilst offering a working culture that is collegiate, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable to be part of. You might not meet all the criteria, but if you are passionate about developing yourself and your career, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note that Crowe Watson Recruitment is unable to assist with sponsorship applications; all candidates must have the right to work in the UK without restriction.
