In this role, you will work as part of a collaborative and experienced private client tax team, assisting in the preparation and review of self assessment tax returns for a varied portfolio of individuals, including high net worth clients, business owners, and trustees. You will gain exposure to a broad range of personal tax matters, building your technical knowledge and developing your confidence in client communication as you progress. Key Responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation of self assessment tax returns for a varied portfolio of private clients
Supporting the team with personal tax computations
Corresponding with HMRC on behalf of clients, handling queries and routine compliance matters
Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring deadlines are met across the portfolio
Developing and maintaining positive client relationships under the guidance of senior team members
Supporting senior staff with ad hoc tax research and advisory work as required
Requirements
ATT part qualified is desirable though not essential
At least 1.5 years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
A solid grounding in personal tax compliance within a practice setting
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and professional development
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications
