A well-regarded firm of Chartered Accountants based in Gloucester is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join their growing team. This role would suit a technically strong Corporate Tax professional who is ready to step into a senior, client facing position, taking ownership of a varied portfolio while playing an active role in the development of junior team members and the wider growth of the tax department.
Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, delivering high quality advisory and compliance services
Provide strategic tax planning advice on complex transactions, restructures, and reliefs
Review corporation tax computations and returns prepared by junior staff
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
Support the mentoring, development, and technical training of the wider tax team
Requirements:
CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Proven experience operating at Senior Manager level within corporate tax
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong technical knowledge across corporation tax legislation and planning
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
