A well-regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Manchester is seeking an experienced Private Tax Senior to join their growing tax team. This role would suit an ambitious Private Client Tax professional looking to broaden their experience within a supportive and progressive practice. You will work closely with a varied client portfolio, gaining exposure to complex tax matters while continuing to build your technical and advisory skillset.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of private clients, including high net worth individuals, trusts, and partnerships
Prepare and review personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC deadlines
Provide tax planning advice tailored to individual client circumstances
Liaise directly with clients and HMRC on tax queries and enquiries
Support junior team members with technical guidance and on the job training
Requirements
ATT and/or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance and planning
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage a busy and varied client portfolio independently
