Diamond Driller – CSCS
Location: EC1
Start Date: Immediate
We are looking for an experienced Diamond Driller to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of diamond drilling and concrete cutting operations and be confident working on construction sites.
The Role
As a Diamond Driller, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of diamond drilling works safely, accurately and efficiently. You will be expected to work independently as well as as part of a team and understand the importance of following site procedures and health & safety requirements.
Duties will include:
-Core drilling and diamond drilling in concrete, brickwork and other construction materials
-Setting up and operating diamond drilling equipment
-Carrying out drilling to specified depths, diameters and locations
-Working from drawings and following site instructions
-Using hand-held and rig-mounted drilling equipment
-Working at height and from access equipment where required
-Maintaining drilling equipment and reporting any defects
-Working safely around other trades and site personnel
-Following RAMS, COSHH and site-specific health & safety procedures
-Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised
-Travelling to various construction sites as required
-Required Tickets & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold:
-CSCS Card – essentiall
-Relevant Diamond Drilling / Concrete Cutting experience
The Person
We are looking for someone who:
-Has proven experience as a Diamond Driller
-Understands the role and responsibilities of a professional diamond driller
-Can operate drilling equipment safely and competently
-Has a strong understanding of construction-site health & safety
-Is physically fit and comfortable with manual work
-Is comfortable working at height and in challenging site environments
-Can work independently and as part of a team
-Has a reliable and professional attitude
-Takes pride in the quality of their work
-Is punctual, dependable and safety-conscious
-Experience in concrete cutting, sawing, chasing or other specialist drilling/cutting works would also be advantageous.
