Job Title: Drama Graduate – Flexible Classroom Support Roles
Location: Taunton & surrounding areas
Pay: £89 per day
Hours: Typically 8:30am – 3:30pm (term time only)
Contract: Flexible – you choose when you work
Are you a creative thinker, confident communicator and someone who enjoys working with young people? Whether you’re at the start of your career, building your creative portfolio or simply looking for rewarding work alongside other commitments, this role could be a brilliant fit.
We’re looking for drama graduates and performance-minded individuals to work flexibly across local primary, secondary and SEND schools in the Taunton area. You’ll bring energy, confidence and imagination to the classroom, helping pupils stay engaged, supporting learning activities and being a positive, encouraging presence throughout the school day.
You might be helping to run activities, supporting small groups, encouraging participation or using your communication skills to inspire confidence. There will also be opportunities to support pupils with additional needs in both mainstream and specialist school environments.
Why you’ll love this role:
• Choose the days you want to work – full flexibility
• School-friendly hours with evenings and weekends free
• Great alongside performing, studying, creative work or other jobs
• Weekly pay – £89 per day
• A chance to gain brilliant experience for future careers in acting, teaching, youth work or care
What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting teachers in the classroom
• Helping pupils focus, participate and enjoy learning
• Working 1:1, with small groups or across the whole class
• Encouraging creativity, confidence and expression
• Supporting behaviour, communication and emotional wellbeing
• Working across a range of school environments, including SEND settings
We’d love to hear from people who:
• Have a drama or performance background (or similar creative experience)
• Are adaptable, enthusiastic and confident working with young people
• Enjoy working with others and bringing positivity to the classroom
• Have experience with children or SEND (helpful but not essential)
• Can travel locally – a car is an advantage
If you’d like flexible, meaningful work that uses your creativity and people skills — apply today to be considered for this role.
