Early Years Practitioner – Speech & Language Support (Mainstream Primary, Yate, South Gloucestershire)
Location: Yate, South Gloucestershire
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: From £14.62/hour
Start Date: ASAP (December) or January

We are recruiting an Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive primary school team, working directly with children to help develop communication, confidence, and foundational learning skills. What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting teachers in speech, language, and communication interventions

Delivering structured or play-based activities to improve communication and social skills

Observing, recording, and reporting on children’s progress

Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence

Helping create a safe, inclusive, and communication-rich classroom environment

Supporting early identification of speech, language, and communication difficulties

Who We’re Looking For

Experience working with young children in nursery or school settings

Interest or experience in speech and language support or SEND

Patient, caring, and proactive, with excellent communication skills

Confident working in one-to-one or small group interventions

A collaborative team player

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
