Are you an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term opportunity in Bristol?
Axcis Education is working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in the Eastville area of Bristol (BS5) to recruit a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant for an ASAP start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to play an important role in supporting their early development, learning and wellbeing. You'll work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to create a positive, engaging and inclusive environment where children can thrive.

About the Role
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning activities
• Provide individual and small-group support where required
• Encourage children's communication, social, emotional and academic development
• Help promote independence, confidence and positive behaviour
• Support children with additional needs and adapt activities to meet individual requirements
• Assist with classroom routines and create a safe, stimulating learning environment
• Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents

The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who:
• Has previous experience working with Early Years or primary-aged children
• Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development
• Is nurturing, patient and enthusiastic
• Can build positive relationships with young children
• Is confident supporting children with a range of abilities and needs
• Works well as part of a team and can follow guidance from teaching and SEND professionals
• Is passionate about helping children develop confidence and a love of learning
