Electrical Learning Support Assistant – Mainstream College
Location: Bromley, BR2
Hours: 9.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
Start: September
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience
We are working with a brilliant mainstream college in Bromley (BR2) who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their Electrical Installation department from September. This is a hands-on, vocational course, and you’ll be supporting students with additional needs as they work towards qualifications in electrical installation.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of additional needs (including autism, ADHD and anxiety)
Assisting students during practical sessions, workshops and classroom-based learning
Supporting students with coursework, understanding technical content and building confidence in their skills
Promoting independence, positive learning behaviours and safety in practical settings
Working closely with teaching staff to adapt lessons and ensure individual needs are met
Requirements:
Background or interest in electrical installation or vocational trades
Previous experience supporting students with additional needs (college or secondary setting preferred)
Confident, calm and proactive approach to supporting learning in practical environments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
