Maintenance Electrician
Salford
circa £35000 per annum
7am - 3pm
Monday - Friday
My Client, a leader in technical services, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team in Salford. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining high technical standards and ensuring the efficient operation of electrical systems. The position may occasionally require coverage at a 2nd site in the local to Salford.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and manage workload to meet specifications and agreed service requirements.
Prioritize and allocate resources effectively for various projects.
Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, staying current on health and safety and environmental regulations.
Install, maintain, and repair plant equipment, demonstrating expertise in electrical systems.
Diagnose, fault-find, commission systems, and monitor facility performance through a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) program, identifying additional works as needed.
Maintain flexible working hours as required for the role.
Administer and complete relevant paperwork promptly.
Understand and meet customer requirements, fostering effective relationships with business partners, including sub-contractors management.
Demonstrate a fair, consistent, and courteous attitude at all levels.
Possess a full driving license.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work under pressure, take ownership of problems, and drive them to resolution.
Report all issues to the Technical Services Supervisor/Technical Services Manager as required.
Attend training courses funded by the client as necessary for business purposes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Technician with a focus on electrical systems.
Knowledge of health and safety and environmental regulations.
Full driving license is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
