As a Multi-skilled Electrician, you will play a crucial role in our Repairs service, executing a wide range of response repairs, planned works, and voids in tenants and clients' premises. This position requires not only proficiency in electrical work but also additional skills across various trades. Key Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of a fully qualified Electrician in both internal and external settings.
Coordinate and execute response repairs, planned works, and voids within specified timescales and budgets.
Read and comprehend construction drawings and specifications.
Ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.
Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
Utilize PDA equipment to record works in real-time.
Prioritize safety by adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a working knowledge of statutory legislation related to health and safety.
Supervise and mentor Apprentices, providing detailed progress reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
Fully qualified Electrician with additional skills across multiple trades.
Proficient in reading construction drawings and specifications.
Strong understanding of building regulations and compliance.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Competent in using PDA equipment for real-time work recording.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and risk assessment procedures.
Supervisory and mentoring experience.
Requirements:
Valid electrician's license.
Relevant trade qualifications.
Experience in a similar role.
Ability to use and maintain a company vehicle/own vehicle in accordance with the Council's driver policy.
