The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. Duties
Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs promptly to minimise downtime
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately
Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and multimeters to carry out electrical tasks
Operate power tools including drills, saws, and other specialised equipment safely and effectively
Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations
Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects on time
Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors
Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools essential for electrical work
Relevant electrical qualifications or certifications recognised within the industry
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Valid UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory depending on the role’s location
