Description

This is a dynamic and pivotal role within a prestigious hotel group in Guernsey, responsible for driving the events sales activity for a landmark property. You will work closely with the Director of Sales and operational teams to maximize conversion and revenue across all event types.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Commercial Focus: Managing the events sales pipeline to achieve ambitious targets, handling enquiries efficiently, and applying effective pricing and yield principles to optimize profitability.
• Sales Administration: Issuing accurate proposals, confirmations, and contracts. Producing and circulating the weekly Function Sheet/BEOs and ensuring clear operational handovers and up-to-date function records.
• Client Management: Delivering excellent client service from initial enquiry to post-event follow-up. This includes conducting show-rounds, coordinating all planning, and leading service recovery to build repeat business.
• Leadership: Leading, coaching, and developing the Events Sales team to deliver targets and maintain hotel and brand standards.
