An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and adaptable Tutor to work 1:1 with secondary school students in the Borough of Hounslow. This highly rewarding position is ideal for an individual passionate about supporting young people who require personalised academic assistance outside of the mainstream classroom setting.

Sessions will take place in alternative educational settings such as libraries or designated school areas separate from the main classroom. Key Details:
1:1 tutoring with secondary school-aged students
Locations include local public spaces (e.g. libraries) or in-school sessions outside the classroom
Flexible weekly schedule
Hours likely to range between 1–3 hours per student per day
Ideal for those seeking part-time, rewarding work
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in tutoring, mentoring, or as a Cover Supervisor preferred
Teaching qualifications such as QTS, PGCE, ECT, HLTA, CELTA, PETTLS, or WTLS are desirable but not essential
Confidence in working independently and adapting to student needs
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
Must have an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
Flexibility in scheduling is essential
