Contract Type: Full Time, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant educational team at a prestigious school located in the heart of Wandsworth, London. The successful candidate will have a passion for facilitating young learners' development and be prepared to contribute positively to our inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the lead teacher in preparing and implementing lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students
• Provide individualized support to students, ensuring their academic and emotional development
• Work collaboratively with the teaching team to monitor student progress and contribute to assessments
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere
• Prepare teaching materials and resources, and ensure the learning environment is safe and conducive to learning
• Engage with parents and guardians to support student's learning and development at home
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Primary Teaching Assistant
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools, or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in following and contributing to individual education plans (IEPs)
• A commitment to ongoing professional development
• Enhanced DBS check
