We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant educational team in London, SW17. The successful candidate will provide support to our teaching staff, offering exceptional educational assistance to our diverse student body.
Responsibilities:
• Support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across various subjects
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce new material and assist with classroom activities
• Aid students with special educational needs, under the direction of the classroom teacher
• Prepare and organize classroom resources and learning materials
• Manage behaviour and promote a positive classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
• Assist with the planning and implementation of instructional activities
• Contribute to the development of our inclusive learning culture
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant
• NVQ Level 2/3 relevant to teaching assistance or equivalent qualification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, patient, and nurturing approach to student development
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Knowledge of the UK curriculum and educational frameworks
