We are looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive first school in Wimborne. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to make a positive difference to their early learning and development.

About the role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will help create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment where children feel confident to explore, learn and develop.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting children with their learning, development and early education
• Working with individuals and small groups of children
• Supporting play-based learning and EYFS activities
• Encouraging children's communication, confidence and social development
• Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Helping children develop independence and essential early learning skills
• Working closely with the class teacher and other school staff
• Creating a calm, safe and nurturing environment for all pupils

Previous experience working with children, particularly within an EYFS, nursery, preschool or primary school setting, would be beneficial. Relevant qualifications or experience in Early Years, childcare, teaching assistance or education are also welcomed.

Location: Wimborne
Pay: £14.25 - £14.92 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
