Description
Our client is an established international law firm seeking a Finance Administrator for its Jersey office. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting the day-to-day work of a busy finance team. It would suit someone who enjoys accurate, varied work and wants to develop their finance knowledge.
The Role
You will help with:
• Accounts payable and receivable, including supplier invoices, expenses and cash receipts
• Billing, bank reconciliations and routine finance queries
• Payment preparation, record keeping, and WIP and debtor reports
• The administration of client accounts, with guidance from senior colleagues
About You
A basic understanding of accounting principles and an interest in developing your finance knowledge are essential. You will be organised, attentive to detail and comfortable working with Excel and other everyday office tools.
Around three years’ experience in a similar role, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, reconciliations and other routine finance processes, is desirable. Experience with Aderant or within legal services would be an advantage.
