A well-established family owned business in Cumbria are looking to appoint a new Finance Manager. Operating for 40+ years, this award winning business has a current annual turnover in the region of £8million and there are plans for further growth.
The new Finance Manager will take ownership of all financial activity for the business, providing strategic support to aid further growth and ongoing business success.
This is an office based role in Wigton. My client is open to discussing a full-time or part-time working arrangement and flexibility is available to suit the individual.
Your New Role as Finance Manager
• Reporting to the Managing Director, overseeing the work of 2 Accounts Assistants (purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll oversight)
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including commentary and analysis
• Preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts
• Provision of strategic support to aid effective desision making, contributing to growth plans
• Provision of ad hoc reports and analysis as required
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
To be considered you will be proven in a similar level, autonomous Finance Manager role with good commercial acumen alongside technical accounting capabilities. Staff management/supervision experience is desirable and you will be a confident communicator, comfortable providing financial insight to various stakeholders and challenging when necessary.
