Location: South Gloucestershire
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday
Pay: £450/week
Contract Type: Temporary (with the chance to secure long-term roles if you want to stick around!)

Fancy a role that fits with your lifestyle – not the other way round?
If you’re looking for something that offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to work across a range of schools – then keep reading! Whether you're looking for extra cash alongside your degree, need something flexible to fit with your busy life, or simply love a bit of variety in your work, this could be the perfect gig for you.
As a Flexible Teaching Assistant, you’ll have the opportunity to work across different schools in South Gloucestershire, supporting students with special educational needs (SEND). One day, you might be helping students in a primary school, and the next, you're working in a secondary or SEN school. If you love variety and have the adaptability to keep up, you’ll be in your element!
---
Why this job could be your next big win:
- Extra cash in your pocket: Earn up to £450/week, perfect for those who want to earn extra money without committing to a full-time job.
- Flexibility: You can work as much or as little as you like. This is great for students or anyone juggling other commitments – you get to decide how much work you take on.
- Great experience: If you're looking to build your experience in education, this is the perfect opportunity to get a feel for what it's like to work in different school environments. Plus, you’ll be supporting students with a range of special educational needs, from autism to challenging behaviour. It’s a dynamic, ever-changing role that will keep you on your toes!
- Variety, variety, variety: One day you're in a classroom helping students with autism, the next you're supporting students with ADHD, SEMH needs, or learning difficulties. You'll never be bored and every day is different!
- Fit your role around your life: Whether you’re a student looking for some extra cash, a parent with a busy schedule, or just someone who loves a flexible gig – this role works around you!
---
**What we’re looking for:**
- A positive, playful nature that helps build rapport quickly with students and staff alike.
- Experience working with young people (ideally 3 months of SEND experience) either paid or voluntary – or maybe you’ve had personal experience that makes you passionate about supporting others.
- Strong interpersonal skills – you’ll need to quickly build connections with new people every day.
- A DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to get a new one).
- A willingness to be flexible, adaptable, and ready to think on your feet!
---
What’s in it for you?
- Weekly pay: Up to £450/week – that’s not too shabby, right?
- Variety of work: From primary to secondary and SEN schools – the world is your oyster.
- Access to professional development: We want to see you grow, which is why we offer ongoing training and support.
- Consultant support: You’ll have me (Laura!) guiding you through your journey, and I’ll always be on hand for advice, support, and answers to any questions.
- Holiday pay: Earn holiday pay as part of your contract – because you deserve a break!
