Kenton Black are recruiting for a freelance Site Manager to provide 6-week cover on a residential development in Aberdeenshire.
Our client, a respected housebuilding contractor with a strong reputation for delivering NHBC-compliant homes across the region, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee operations on an active housing site. This short-term opportunity offers the chance to lead a well-established team and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site activities and ensure smooth project progression
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet build targets
- Uphold NHBC standards and ensure compliance with building regulations
- Conduct scaffold inspections and maintain accurate site records
- Enforce health and safety protocols and lead toolbox talks
- Report progress to senior management and resolve on-site issues proactively
What You Bring:
- Proven track record in site management within NHBC housing developments
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS, Scaffold Inspection, and First Aid certifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme deadlines
