Description
Our client is an independent, family-owned business with over three decades experience in international wealth structuring and administration seeking to recruit a Fund Accountant.
Overall purpose of the role:
Undertake bookkeeping, accounting and reporting for a portfolio of active Venture Capital funds. The Fund Accountant will be expected to provide accurate well-presented client deliverables (including accounts and quarterly/ monthly reporting) within the agreed deadlines in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Fund and company.
The successful candidate will have:
• The ability to understand and interpret fund documentation, GFSC regulations, including the Protection of Investors law and anti-money laundering regulations.
• Hold or be studying towards a recognised professional qualification such as CGI (ICSA), ACCA, ACA and/or a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience in fund accounting.
