I am urgently looking for a Learning Support Worker to support in a Further Education college on the outskirts of Bristol to work on a full-time basis which comprises of a working week of Monday – Friday 09.15 - 4.30 starting asap.
This rewarding role is to continue until the end of the academic year for the right candidate and consistency is key for the students who you will be supporting and therefore it is vital that you are reliable, committed and consistent with your work. You will be supporting students aged 16 + who have a range of moderate learning difficulties predominantly Autism, Global Delay, ADHD, PMLD, some with speech and language difficulties and others who can display varying levels of challenging behaviour. You will be supporting the students with their daily routine, in and around their studies, during breaks and across their courses and you would be matched with your interests and hobbies with a student studying the specific course of interest also as best we can.
The college is a very welcoming place to work, has a very supportive student support and senior leadership team and is all round a warm, vibrant, friendly, supportive and engaging setting to work in. The college has super public transport links and a large car park if you drive yourself.
