Head of Bid Management
Heavy Civils

Looking for that exciting new challenge with one of the worlds largest contractors? This role could be for you. I am currently on the search for a HEAD OF BID MANAGEMENT based in within a reasonable commute of the M4 corridor with a heavy civils background.
My client is expanding their portfolio of work in the UK and looking to increase their turnover from £100m to around £250m in the next 2-3 years. As a business they work across a range of civil, rail and energy infrastructure projects at the moment and are looking to expand their net into other civil specialisms.

Leading the Bid department and reporting straight into the Managing Director, you will be directly leading the business development strategy with the business and must have a good insight to the UK construction market. This role will have number direct reports per tender as well as working collaboration with the wider senior leadership team in the work winning team and operational team.

What you will need…
• Experience and knowledge working in the civil engineering sector
• Experience and excellent knowledge of the UK construction industry
• Experience working in a main contracting environment (desirable)
• Experience pricing works from a minimum of £10m
• Located within a commutable distance of London or the M4 corridor.
