About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified teacher (QTS essential) with a strong track record of delivering high-quality PE lessons and inspiring young people to achieve their personal best. This leadership role will require someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and dedicated to delivering an engaging and inclusive PE curriculum across KS3–KS5.
You will be responsible for:
Leading and developing the PE curriculum
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across key stages
Organising extracurricular clubs, teams, and events
Promoting health, fitness and wellbeing across the school
Leading a small but dedicated department
Driving participation and achievement in physical activity and sport
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
QTS and experience teaching PE in a secondary school
Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team
A commitment to inclusive education and raising standards
Experience or interest in working in a girls' school setting
A forward-thinking approach to curriculum and pupil engagement
