Rhodium Consulting are delighted to be partnering with one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of high-quality kitchen and bedroom furniture, to recruit a Junior Kitchen Designer for their team in Croydon.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Kitchen Designer who enjoys working directly with customers to bring their visions to life. You’ll be joining a friendly, close-knit team within a respected and stable business that values creativity, quality, and personal growth.
This is a showroom-based role, working directly with both retail and contract clients. You’ll collaborate closely with our Surveying and Manufacturing teams to ensure every project runs smoothly from concept through to installation.
Key Responsibilities
• Design innovative and functional kitchens and bedrooms for both retail and contract clients
• Conduct client consultations in the showroom, understanding their design vision, layout, and material preferences
• Create detailed CAD drawings and prepare accurate quotations using 2020 Fusion and EQ software
• Prepare and maintain tender submissions for contract projects
• Manage your workload effectively, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and to specification
• Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, offering exceptional customer service throughout the process
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to maintain our high standards of quality and service
What We’re Looking For
• Confident communicator with strong people skills and a customer-first mindset
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of organisation
• CAD software experience
• IT proficient, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Knowledge of EQ (Easy Quote) software (desirable)
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Conscientious, professional, and passionate about delivering outstanding results
