Full-Time Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School | Chingford (E4)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Full-time | Long-term

Axcis Education is working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Chingford (E4), committed to supporting students with autism and complex learning needs. They are looking for a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join their team from early October.

In this rewarding role, you’ll provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students with autism access the curriculum, regulate their emotions, and develop essential life skills in a nurturing environment.

We are looking for someone who:

-Has experience supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) or complex needs

-Is confident using strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or visual supports

-Brings a calm, empathetic, and resilient approach, particularly when managing challenging behaviour

-Shows a proactive attitude and strong teamwork skills
