Location: Hemel Hempstead
Hours: Monday–Friday, between 8:00am–6:00pm

The Nursery Practitioner Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where babies and young children can learn, explore and develop.
You'll work alongside an experienced Early Years team, supporting children's development through purposeful play, engaging activities and positive interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner will include:
Providing high-quality care and Early Years support to babies and young children.
Creating a welcoming, safe and stimulating nursery environment.
Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
Supporting children's communication, social, emotional and physical development.
Following the EYFS framework and supporting children towards their individual developmental milestones.
Observing children and contributing to records of their progress and development where required.
Supporting daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, sleep routines, toileting and personal care.
Building positive, nurturing relationships with children and helping them feel secure within the nursery.
Working collaboratively with Nursery Practitioners, Room Leaders and other Early Years professionals.
Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health, safety and hygiene at all times.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates MUST meet at least one of the following requirements:
? CACHE Level 2 qualified Nursery Practitioner
? CACHE Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner or above
? Qualified Teacher willing and confident to work within a nursery/Early Years setting
Unfortunately, candidates without a recognised Level 2 Early Years/Nursery qualification or above cannot be considered for this particular Nursery Practitioner opportunity.
Previous experience working within a nursery, Early Years setting, preschool or similar childcare environment would be highly beneficial.
Hours & Flexibility
The nursery operates Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 6:00pm in Hemel Hempstead.
