Level 2 Teaching assistant | Chorley area | Full-time and Part-time positions

Axcis are an education agency that are currently looking to recruit early years teaching assistants to provide varying levels of support to schools within the Chorley area. As an education agency specialising in SEND provision within schools, we are always looking to recruit enthusiastic and flexible teaching assistants who have a passion to work with children who have additional needs.
We are currently working with a number of schools in the Chorley area who are looking to use our candidates to support children in a range of settings and with a variety of special educational needs. They are looking to use the successful candidates to cover long-term, with some having the possibility of temporary – permanent positions becoming available.
You will be providing whole class, group and 1-1 support to children who may have varying needs. The schools we are working with are specifically looking for candidates with a Level 2 TA qualification or higher, they will also consider Level 2 Early years practitioner qualifications.
What we are looking for:
• At least a Level 2 TA/EYFS practitioner qualification
• A calm, and consistent approach to managing a range of SEN, including challenging behaviour.
• Flexibility to work during school hours -8:30am- 3:30pm
• Ability to reliably commute, preferably by driving, within Chorley and the surrounding areas.
Whilst driving would be preferable to reach some of the schools, it is not essential and candidates who are happy to travel using public transport are welcome to apply.
