Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Assistant
Location: Sutton, South London
Contract: Full-time | Long-term
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm or 9:00am – 6:00pm
Start Date: ASAP or September 2025
A warm and welcoming nursery in Sutton is seeking a caring and qualified Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join their supportive early years team. This setting is passionate about providing a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for children to grow, learn, and thrive.
The Role:
• Support the daily care, learning, and development of children aged 0–5
• Create engaging activities aligned with the EYFS framework
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff
• Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed
• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere
Requirements:
• Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
• A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to childcare
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
• Up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding practices
