Lunchtime Cover Assistant – Special School – Sutton
Location: Sutton
Hours: 11:30am – 1:30pm (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Part-time, ongoing
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic all-through special school in Sutton that caters for students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) and Autism. They are looking for a reliable and positive Lunchtime Cover Assistant to join their team from September.
This role is perfect for someone looking for part-time work during school hours – ideal for parents or carers wanting to work while their children are at school.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support students during the lunch period
Promote positive behaviour and engagement
Work as part of a friendly and supportive staff team
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children is preferred (professional or personal)
A calm, confident and caring approach
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
