A leading offshore professional services business is looking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented Manager to join its Global Accounting team, supporting a diverse and international client base.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant or technically experienced individual to take on a collaborative leadership role across multiple jurisdictions. The position offers both variety and challenge, as well as exposure to a wide range of entities and accounting standards.
About the Role
The successful candidate will join a global team responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial statements and periodic reporting for a varied portfolio of entities—including unit trusts, partnerships, companies, and foundations—operating in Jersey, Guernsey, the UK, and the Cayman Islands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Effectively manage and support team members reporting to you.
• Lead the preparation and review of technically complex financial statements and interim reports.
• Collaborate across jurisdictions to ensure consistency and accuracy in service delivery.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, auditors, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with deadlines, quality standards, and internal reporting protocols.
• Support colleagues globally and mentor junior staff within the accounting function.
• Use and maintain systems including QuickBooks, Viewpoint, and Yardi.
This is a hands-on role offering excellent professional development within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
• ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by relevant experience.
• Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS (knowledge of US GAAP is a plus).
• Previous experience managing staff and delivering financial reporting to clients.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Viewpoint and Yardi is advantageous.
• A positive, flexible, and self-motivated approach.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective time management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
